You know who I think was the worst comic artist was this jackoff named Pedi, he drew a couple of issues of Supreme back during Extreme Prejudice that were horrible. What sucked is that it was Supreme vs a Magneto ripoff and it completly ruined the fight for me.

same goes for Land. If by "defending any artist" means, not join in on making fun, sure you defend lots of people. But for Liefeld, like TB said, you do go the extra mile.

I remember that 'artist'(?). I hated his work, even back then--when Liefield was a GOD. The hair he draws bothered me the most back then but now looking at this shit, it all sucked.

I have defended Chaykin. I like him too.

But I haven't seen his recent stuff so I can't comment so much on that. Same with Land, I'm not that familiar with his work.

Yes i'm a Liefeld fan so of course I'll defend him more than someone else.

Yeah but ultimately you couldn't resist and had to state your position about it. So yes.. putting yourself in the crossfire, given the fact that you've gone the extra miles to try and defend Liefeld, and usually can't resist the temptation of putting your 2 cents in.

Don’t DO this, Pete! I can’t deal with this routine again!

Someone insults Liefeld, Dan describes why their complaints are baseless and posts some Liefeld art he likes. Someone else (usually me) posts the Cap manboobs pic, then Dan gets self-righteously indignant and explains how Liefeld was super tired when drawing it and the editor never should’ve used it and at this point we’re all just tired of the whole ordeal and move on to Land or Chaykin or something.
