hahaha yeah i never liked the spiked Thing look, i thought Todd Mcfarlane made it look cool in one of the symbiote issues in ASM, but every other time its looked horrible

this was also when that female version of the Thing was around
so i think they thought making Ben look like a pineapple, and making the girl look like she was covered in orange elephant sploog would help you tell them apart.....
