The Milestone characters have already been integrated, I admit they need to use them more but they are there. Well I know they are, I guess I just meant better integrated...Wildstorm, I've heard, is being completely folded into the DCU with this reboot...Apparently Grifter is one of the new "52" titles coming out.

| GL reboot titles revealed. - Quote :
Green Lantern #1 by Geoff Johns, Doug Mahnke and Cristian Alamy
Geoff Johns has been charting the adventures of Hal Jordan and the GREEN LANTERN Corps since GREEN LANTERN: Rebirth, collaborating with such major artists as Ethan Van Sciver, Darwyn Cooke, Prentis Rollins, Marlo Alquiza and Mick Gray.
This fall, Johns reunites with artists Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy, as the series begins anew with GREEN LANTERN #1 with cover by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado. Together they will continue to thrill readers and expand the Green Lantern mythos.
Change is coming. But set aside your fear. It'll be worth the wait.
Green Lantern Corps #1 by Peter Tomasi, Fernando Pasarin, and Scott Hanna
When deadly conflicts emerge across the universe, it's up to Guy Gardner, John Stewart and an elite Green Lantern strike force to keep the peace.
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #1 will be written by Peter J. Tomasi with art by Fernando Pasarin and Scott Hanna. The cover to #1 is by Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy.
Green Lantern: The New Guardians #1 by Tony Bedard and Tyler Kirkham
Who are The New Guardians?
The power of Rage, Avarice, Fear, Will, Hope, Compassion and Love combine to be the most powerful (and colorful) team in the corps under the leadership of Kyle Rayner. Beware their power . . . and their volatility!
GREEN LANTERN: THE NEW GUARDIANS #1 will be written by Tony Bedard and illustrated with cover by Tyler Kirkham and Batt.
Red Lanterns #1 by Peter Milligan and Ed Benes Going solo. Atrocitus and his Red Lantern Corps return in their own series, battling against injustice in the most bloody ways imaginable. This Lantern Corps takes no prisoners, they are judge, jury and executioners!
RED LANTERNS #1 will be written by Peter Milligan with art and cover by Ed Benes and Rob Hunter.

| In April according to newsarama Men of War, Mister Terrific, O.M.A.C., Hawk and Dove, Blackhawks and Static Shock are all coming to a close and Batman Incorporated, Earth 2, World's Finest, Dial H, G.I. Combat and The Ravagers are starting up.
I can't say I'm sorry to see any of them go. I want to like Mister Terrific and Static but I just can't get into them. I don't understand why they're starting another soldier book with G.I. Combat when they two they tried have already failed. O.M.A.C. and Hawk and Dove shouldn't have even got off the ground.

I like Blackhawks. Yeah, not sad to see any of those books go. Espcially since we get two Earth 2 titles (World's Finest is about Earth 2 Powergirl and Huntress). I agree with Thoams. Tried to like Mr. Terrific and Static, but they weren't that great.

| I'm just wondering why DC is pushing to make War comics cool and relevant again. Nobody wants that. Just because CoD is so popular doesn't mean it sells as a comicbook.

Call of Duty, Battlefield... doesn't hurt to try. Also two titles really isn't pushing it that hard either. I'd also be somewhat hesitant to call the Blackhawks a War comic either.

Anyways isn't the GI whatever book basically what Men of War was going to be? I remember hearing that after Brandon's run Krul was taking over and I find it ironic that Krul is writing this new series roughly the same premise.

No offense to NoLuv, Taylor, or anybody else in the armed forces but I feel like the wars in the middle east have been over saturated in tv, movies, and comics. If it's something original that's one thing but it seems like the same generic story over and over again.

I'm sure you can say "this shit's getting old," without offending them. yup pretty much and on top of which I kinda feel the same way AND i hate the unrealistic portrayals of military personnel like why do they all turn into assholes or are assholes or some shit like that I'm over the whole "crooked chain of command" and OMG will our hero defy orders and do the right thing blah blah blah like Green Lantern already had that covered and General Lane pretty much took the cake for crooked COs (although that one i didn't mind so much because a. he was technically justified in the whole Anti Kryptonian thing and b. they didnt go about it like he was just some typical supervillain megalomaniac when he's not one) idk i just dont really agree w/ the majority of the way the military is presented in DC, Marvel isn't nearly as bad even in Ultimates when theyre doing black ops and sometimes morally questionable shit its not a question that General Fury and The Ultimates ARE the heroes even when it gets messy ur not like FUCK YOU I HOPE YOU DIE FURY YOU'RE A FUCKIN DOUCHE!!!! Like say Major Force right they can recreate Captain Atom's powers pretty much whenever (as proven by MF's existence in the first place and Bombshell's as well) if an officer went off the deep end and was all into supervillainy and ya know killing indiscriminately for money the REAL military response would be ...." Okay Captain Atom go put this mad dog down and we'll try again with an actual loyal soldier". Look at Magog how'd he go from being this all American war hero type to some asshole blowing off his own head? Cuz for the most part DC sucks at the military thing, and even when they do it right ya still rarely get a book about good soldiers thats ya know ACTUALLY GOOD (I havent read Blackhawks yet so maybe that might be but Suicide Squad doesn't count and when's the last time Sgt. Rock or the Losers were relevant?) /rant.
