| This is a topic for the latest in comic news. We'll create individual threads as necessary, but this is where you can hear it first. War of Kings is an upcoming cosmic event (2009) involving Vulcan, the Inhumans, GoG, and a few others from Marvel's cosmic stable. You can read the article right here. Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning are pretty much Marvel's cosmic gods right now, so that's all good. But I still haven't read Conquest and haven't heard anything good about Emperor Vulcan. Better get on that . . .

| I never read any of the Rise/Fall of the Shi'ar or Emperor Vulcan stuff but if it's DnA behind it I'm sure it won't be all that bad.
I'm hoping this (or SI: Inhumans) resolves some unanswered question left by Silent War. I'm guessing the Black Bolt we saw in WWH was the skrully version but I wish they would fill the gaps. | |

It really seems like they're sweeping right over Silent War entirely. Why do you ask? well the teaser image says "they took their king, and now the inhumans strike back" or something of that sort. because at the end of Silent War, Maximus overthrew and imprisoned Black Bolt... supposedly the real one too.
Emperor Vulcan was okay. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't horrible. It was very mediocre from Brubaker. I'm excited in a way, new Marvel Cosmic series, how can you not be excited? But then again, I'm really burning out on events from Marvel. Conquest is definitely good stuff TB. | |

| Y'know what's more exciting than Batman R.I.P.? Niel Gaiman penning a two issue series following Batman R.I.P. titled "What Ever happened to the Caped Crusader?" More info here. I think I need new pants. Also while Batman and Detective Comics are on hiatus Gaiman will be writing a series called "Battle for the Cowl." Which, sources say, will essentially be the last Batman story.  Oh, and there's video here.So, we gonna see Azrael vs. Jason Todd vs. Nightwing? Let's hope. | |
