Batman: The Widening Gyre.

I like Kevin Smith's movies. Chasing Amy is one of my favs. This man has absolutely no business writing Batman. At all.

I'ma go ahead and say he should not write comics at all.
Nothing he has written, I have liked enough for me to have any faith in him and his comic book writing career.

You didnt like Daredevil or Green Arrow?

No, he did not.

He foolish.

I said not enough for me to have faith in his comic book writing career. That doesn't mean I didn't like any of his other stuff...just didn't like a lot...or all that much.

Green Arrow and Daredevil were alright...actually not so much daredevil, IMO. Green Arrow was alright.

All I know is I didn't like Daredevil or Green Arrow before I read Kevin's run on the series but I did after. I'd say the guys who came after did a better job on the series but he gave them a good starting point.

Ultimates 3.

Did Loeb read any ultimate books before he wrote it?
At all?

Storywise it is by far one of the worst comics that I have ever read. Ever.

Not to mention that while Joe Mad!'s art is sweet, he didn't bother to pay attention that Ultimates costumes are different than 616.

He has.....for DC, but he's yet to shine in Marvel. It's a shame I think his son's death has kinda affected his writing negatively..shame.

Towards the end of the arc, they showed that Thor had a bunch of different versions of Mjolnir. The 616 looking hammer was sitting right next to the Ultimate one.

You know what's never made sense is that asgardians don't make more Uru weapons for their warriors. They made a hammer for Beta Ray Bill and a mace for Eric Masterson but they can't make some cool weapons for the Warriors Three, Balder, Heimdall, or Sif?

Oh yeah. That seemed like it was thrown in there to explain why Joe Mad! was drawing the wrong hammer the whole time.
