Help thread

TB, create your own so that you can edit it at will and such.
(I'll delete this once you do. it's mostly just a reminder)

I'm embarrassed to say this: But I'm still trying to figure some of it out myself. Once I get handle on it, I'll post the Help Thread.

We've been on here, what, two days?

Since there doesn't seem to be a "Help" thread other than this yet, thought I'd ask here.

I noticed that when you look at a list of most recent posts, to the left of the title of the thread there appears to be an icon which looks like it can be changed or customized. It's actually more of a little image window than an icon. So, my question is can the original thread poster/creator make an image for that thread? In other words, assign some sort of image to the thread.

Here's a qutsion (as my boss pronounces it) for ya. How do I get the signature thingee working? I've typed words into into the internets and saved but it never seems to work. I also can't get the rubbing two sticks together to start a fire thing going either.

Yeah, I did that but nothing is on the screen when I type here. It still shows up on my profile just not here.

Click on "PREFERENCES" and make sure the box is checked to show your signature, and then save it.

It only took a whole lot of help from others for me to achieve what everybody else did on their own. Thanks. I accept your gold star.

Is there a way to change our screen name once we're already members? I'm not talking about a whole new name, just a small change.

Also, is there or will there be a chat room or a way to IM people on here other than AIM?
