| This is a thread where people say stupid stuff to you about comics videogames or whatever and try to pass it off as fact. I had two things happen yesterday
1. "Superman is the only big character to die." I decided to not be a dick with this comment and just calmly went down a list off of the top of my head of big characters that have died.....WonderWoman, Hall Jordan and the list goes on. Than stating that death is really nothing but a revolving door in comics.
2. Rebellion IS Force Edge (Devil May Cry)-This came from a friend of mine who has played all the games, but apparently forgets three. We were discussing which sword is stronger Rebellion or Yamato. I said Yamato because it opened up the Hell Gate and so on. He said Rebellion because its true form is Sparda Sword. I said "your thinking of force edge." He said, "No their not, Force Edge was just re-named in 2." I said "Go play Devil May Cry 3 again where Dante uses Rebellion and Force Edge is the sword that Arkham grabs hold of in front of the gates to Hell."

| ...renamed in 2?
clearly forgot that you can play as trish who wields the sparda sword. Meaning Dante does not have the force edge.

| My dad keeps telling me that all of his back issues of Spawn will one day be worth millions of dollars and he will sell them to a comic shop and retire. I took him to a bunch of comic shops to have them appraised and he said they were all haters. | |

He doesn't want to do anything with them besides read them on the crapper. They just stay bundled up in his porn collection chest till the day he decides to either read them or sell them. I have no idea who he'll sell them to.

Find some kid who doesn't know anything about comics but thinks that spawn looks badass and isnt a pansy like that fag superman and tell him how EXTREMELY AWESOME AND RARE THEY ARE and scribble "Seth McFarlane", not Todd, Seth, on the cover of issue 1 and sell it to him for triple what its worth.

| That kind of reminds of what I said in the "You're a real comic fan if" thread. Half-steppin' comic "fanboys" always seems to think any comic more than fifteen years old or anything with a number 1 on the cover are worth lots of money. | |

Yes, that's what my dad does. He also believes that he can buy special comic book and movie-themed monopoly games and play them once, re-wrap them and keep them till he's old and can sell it and retire off the money. He has Spider-man, X-Men, Star Wars, and I think a Marvel, Monopoly.... and I have not been allowed to touch them once.
