Why? Okay first off, I'm tired of Bendis's Mancrush on him, or the fact that SpiderWoman is the character who can cause the most damage... long before anyone gavea shit about her.

Secondly, Wolverine was doing all the leading while they were in Japan, not Cage. Wolverine and Hawkeye are the best choices.

I think Cage isn't the best choice for leader but it makes sense why they did it. It would be a lower # if Hawkeye and Spiderwoman and Wolverine and Dr. Strange and Iron Fist weren't on the team. Not that any of them would be better but none would be worse.
