Yeah, cuz nursing a baby is way lower on the priority list. Speaking of, did they ever address that? is their baby a skrull or what?

Misty Knight was pregnant in the Iron Fist book, but now that's canceled so idk when that's gonna get addressed, either.

I went back up to look at it again and it was just Cage with really tight jeans and no shirt. So homo erotic.

| I wonder if New Avengers is going to become a type of solo book with characters who are "New Avengers" for a single story. If Captain America asks another superhero to do something for the Avengers how the hell would any of them say no? | |

| Avengers Acadamy makes it, at least, four ongoing Avengers books. Right to Assemble: I AM AN AVENGER! By Troy Brownfield posted: 05 March 2010 05:30 pm Hey, gang. We’ve been laying low with the “Right to Assemble” column as the “I am an Avenger” reveals rolled out and SIEGE continues. Now that we’ve had three titles identified in the promo campaign (Avengers, Secret Avengers, and New Avengers), and we’ve had a fourth confirmed via our interview with Tom Brevoort (Avengers Academy), we thought it was time to come back with a look at the new teams and conduct a poll.
In previous installments of “Right to Assemble” (like here, here, and here), we talked about Post-SIEGE line-ups. I even forwarded the idea that there could be a Big Guns team, a street-level team, an “X-Force” style team, and a Young Avengers book. So, I’ve got that going for me.
While we do know via the Ed Brubaker interview and comments by Brian Bendis on Twitter that the team rosters are not necessarily confined to those characters in the promos, here’s what we know.
• ENLARGE Avengers: Captain America (New Cap, apparently), Thor, Iron Man,Spider-Woman, Hawkeye. Wolverine and Spider-Man were also on the solicited cover for #1
•Secret Avengers: It’s still a secret! But my guesses are Steve Rogers, Valkyrie or Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Nova, Beast or Gorilla-Man, and Moon Knight. •New Avengers: Spider-Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Jewel, The Thing. •Avengers Academy: Likely a mix of pre-existing Young Avengers, New Warriors, and Initiative members.
Of these line-ups, which one interests you the most? If you could assign other characters to the teams, who would you like to see? Frankly, I think that Iron Fist is a must for New Avengers; hell, I’d throw in She-Hulk too because the team’s already loaded with smart-asses.
We want to hear what you think. And to that end . . .
From the preview images or discussion, which Avengers book interests you the most? You can give your whys below. http://www.newsarama.com/comics/avengers-right-assemble-100305.html

| anyone else go hey WTF when they realized Cap, Bucky, Namor, Human Torch and Toro are all around and yet Brybaker ISNT writing a New Invaders title???
Super espionage is his thing, so im willing to bet Secret Avengers will go hard like Jay Z but still totally letting that one go to waste if ntohing else a bad ass miniseries could come out of that.....

| If you were talking about the other one that actually looks like a woman's figure but with a cape then I'd agree. I'm thinking that one is Doc Voodoo. | |

I think that's a good guess. But Sleepwalker would be good if they're going to try to make any of it a surprise.

| I just wish they dialed down the Avengers to one book. Kinda like the JLA is right now....with their reserves they call in for "guest" appearances every few issues. | |

| Yeah but that calls for a surprise by Marvel... seriously... when has anything "surprising" been surprising at Marvel things?
Osborn's Secret Weapon? People have been guessing that since day one.
I guess the only thing was that Elektra was a skrull, but that was just odd confusion.

I agree. I'm hoping Brians idea is true and New will be "Avenger for a day" kinda book.
Why is Thing wearing FF duds if he's an Avenger? This sorta backs up Brians idea.

[/quote well Thing and other FFers have been Avengers before and didnt change gear so that's not so surprising. and what you talkin bout Willis JLA has been nothing but a team of reserves for the last few months well for a while now actually but whats wrong with that? Zatanna, Firestorm, Plastic-Man those ain't bad things to toss in a JLA book

| Bendis has said that the costumes you see in these teaser pics aren't necessarily the ones they are going to be wearing in the books. I know for a fact that Hawkeye will be rocking a new costume. Thing might have a different costume that he wears for the Avengers. As for Thing being a member, I'm all for it. I hate the Fantastic Four with a passion.
I don't know about New Avengers being a "solo" Avenger book; I thought it was going to be more of a "street level" Avengers team.
