Really, he's going to be in the Titans?

I need confirmation but I'm going to bed. I hope to have replies in the morning so i don' thave to type it in the google bar myself.

Well we do know that DC will be acquiring the Milestone characters and some of them will be appearing in the pages of Justice League.

As for Static joining the Titans. Well here's what Didio has to say:

He's not even being subtle. And when you throw in this picture it's a safe assumption we're gonna see Static in Terror Titans.

By the way I think Dido was a pussy for disacknowledging the race issue. Of course diversity was a part of this BUT there is nothing wrong with that. It's fine to say that there are bigger reasons than race to do this but there is nothing wrong with saying, "This is a great way to make our universe more diverse without creating a bunch of minority characters out of nowhere. For some reason a lot of minority characters just don't seem to work or get much of a response but the milestone characters are great characters (regardless of ethnicity) that have a great fan following. So incorporating these characters into the DC univers will bring in more established characters with a large fan following and we get the added bonus of creating more diversity without it feeling forced. Plus we get to make money off of the trades and finish off a story that many fans want to see concluded. Its a win in every way."--though I would touch that up a bit before going to press.

I don't like him being called Static Shock but as long as they keep it to Static I think like it. Plus I liked the cartoon. I think they should modernize his costume a bit though.

ive never really liked him

i dont like his costume, i dont like his name, i dont like his dreads, and the idea of electric powers is older than dirt

plus he seems to be one those characters that was created to be "hip" or "cool" with younger kids....therefore eliminating any chance of him being "hip" or "cool"

do people even say "hip" anymore?

they need to do a story where Deathstroke drops off Static Shock in a ghetto and Static gets his ass kicked and jacked...id buy that

I really really REALLY can't see Static as a Terror Titan....I mean, they are villians, so unless Static is all about the money now, I really can't see it

I really can't believe this... but since it's happening I may as well go ahead and being hoping for Bruce to be replaced by Terry McGuiness at the end of Batman RIP.

I guess he'll be ok but I'd rather have Sparx from Superboy & The Ravers or Empress from Young Justice.




I still don't get why they decided to make Captain Marvel Jr. into Captain Marvel he would have been great on the Teen Titans. There's just too many kick ass teen characters they actually need to try again with the Titans East team, a lot of those characters were cool.

What are Black Lightning's powers again? Isn't Static like a hipper (even though he's already out-dated) younger version of Black lightning?
