Yeah they really added some depth to the character before he would pop up and be 2 dimentional whenever they needed a Kree to fight someone.

I love the consumate soldier, die-hard patriot, and reluctant leader angle.

In my mind thats how a real hero behaves.

The Kree are lucky to have him as their leader

above all, he believes in his people.
