Love the last couple of panels.

Awesome...Man the Olympians are going to be pissed off at the Sentry, I can tell you that...Especially Ares...

Sentry just got his first real ownage points.

Fuckin' wrecked Ares. Not shenanigans, just...dammit. Ares is one of my favorite Marvel characters.

does suck he got fucked up he didnt really grow on me til dark avengers and secret warriors got going.

Art was fantastic and this issue was much better than the first. The pacing in the first issue was suspect, since I think Bendis was trying to rectify some of the slow starts and lagging middles of previous events. Last issue was the wrong way to do that. This issue was right. I don't even give a fuck that he actually had the balls to have the Helitransport create a fuckin' wormhole, it was too fun.

Also, Ares death was brutal and unexpected. Surprisingly well done.

idk if it was completly unexpected. Been reading on comicvine this past couple days that ares was suspected to possibly be the avenger that dies mostly because they got their hands on a few panels showing what we saw........ares turning on osborn.

Damn good issue... I loved it... this is what the Sentry should be like. Now its actually justifiable for everyone to fear him as the secret weapon.. Damn if Ares didnt go out fighting though. I'm really looking forward to seeing Cap in action again!

That last page was my favorite part.
Very excited for next issue because of that alone.

I really really hope my theory about the Sentry turns out to be true... This is making me hopeful.

I really felt a word bubble should've been at the last panel like "oh crap" or "god damnit".

A few things though.

1. All the "incoming" alerts from Osborn's armor were hilarious.

2. Anyone notice that tentacle coming out of sentry from where Ares stabbed him with that big axe?...Are they implying that the void is gunna burst out of him like at the end of the first Hellboy movie?

3. I'm curious to see if we get an Iron man vs Iron Patriot fight.

too bad that Iron man would fuck norman's shit up if it were one on one. What I really want to see is Cap and Ironman give norman a bad day. . . and then spiderman comes in for one really good wisecrack at the end.

The Void has already taken over. Remember that issue of Dark Avengers where Norman gives Bob the serum? Plus the glowing eyes is a dead giveaway.

Here's another thought. I really hope my theory turns out to be true because it would explain away all the reasons why I hated the Sentry at first. The loss to the Hulk, all the freak outs, they would make sense. Bob is the vessels for a power so destructive that even Doom fears it (The Void). The Sentry is a manifestation of Bobs humanity trying to counterbalance that destrucive power. The Sentry is false. The Void is real. Every time the Sentry has lost to an opponent, Hulk included, ever time he has freaked out and ran from a fight or refused to join the fight (Against Blackbolt) it was Bobs way of trying to find an opponent that could kill the Void or avoid releasing the insane destructive power of the Void.
I hope after this they make a maxi or even mini series on how the Void really took over Bob, and how the Sentry really came about.
