- Hawkman's book would prob be hard to keep going as Hawkman only has about two dimensions to his character. Violence, and Hawkgirl which usually leads to violence.
This is true of how he's written now. I think I heard a writer describe hawkman as Conan with wings. In that terms there are depths to his character that can be tapped. & I believe Johns gives him those depths. What depths? When he was first re-introduced & in his series. At least the early issue I've read. That doesn't even come close to answering my question. Hawkman really has no personality. As Carter Hall, he seems amiable enough, but as Hawkman he seems over the top angry, but we don't why. Since his origin is so screwed, is he an reincarnated egyptian prince, or a thangarian cop. Which one is he and why does he do what he does, what is his motivation. Personally I would prefer the thangarian cop, but they should pick one and distance themselves away from the other. In Rann/Thanagar: Holy War it looks like his origin isn't either. They haven't explained it yet but I don't think I like that. I was under the impression Johns took a bit of both. He has the memories of both, & Thanagar has some ties to Egypt. The ship that crashed anyway...

DAMN. I KNEW I WAS FORGETTING SOMETHING. Wait don't you mean " THE CARLITO KNEW HE FORGOT SOMETHING."? Or are you not refering to yourself in the third person anymore? Cause that would be fucking awesome.
