| Nifty idea. Who's this Libra guy from Final Crisis, a new character or an established one? Sorry, I'm a bit DC challenged especially after all of their mega crossovers. | |

He appeared in one issue of the Justice League during the Silver Age. He stole the League's powers but couldn't handle it and went batshit. I posted the issue he appeared in on the old ARA. Plus, I'm pretty sure DC just issued a reprint of that and a few other comics for Final Crisis.

He's in a coma. They mention it in Infinite crisis, which is posted in OQL

| Captain Cold is actually a lot different than Mr. Freeze, there's more to him, I think.
Want to read up on some of his exploits?
Pick up Rogue War. | |

Pick up Rogue War. "More to him?" I don't think Captain Cold's ever been very fleshed out. Until recently I suppose. I prefer Freeze's origin . . . Post-Crisis.

I prefer Freeze's origin . . . Post-Crisis. I'm pretty sure Johns fleshed out his character during his Flash run.
hmm that sounded a little wrong...
Anyway, I'm sure mini would know.

I prefer Freeze's origin . . . Post-Crisis. i agree read Rogue war that arc in itself made alot of the flash villains more tolerable and captain cold got even more points w/ me when he told bart he kept a spare cold gun around his living room cuz he never knew when he'd wanna freeze up a beer

Ummm basically Mr. Freeze on crack. Thats as lightly as I can put it. Just as I figured, just a Mr. Freeze rip off. Mr.Freeze fell in a vat of some chemical & therefore must wear a suit to keep him cold.
Captain Cold uses a "cold gun" to freeze things & people.

Captain Cold uses a "cold gun" to freeze things & people. I'm liking Captain Cold especially after Salvation Run
